im new to reloading and i am reloading for a .300 ultra, when i run the sizing die through the case, they come out with dents on the shoulder of the case, what could be causing this? I loaded 20 shells no problem, then this started to happen.

You made be using too much lube and it`s building up abit in your die. Hydrolic pressure causes the dents. Try less lube for the next few rounds and see if it goes away.

If you have some aerosol brake parts cleaner, flush out the die to remove the buildup of lube. I've had the same thing happen myself.

Probably too much lube on sholders but it could be the air holes are plugged. Look at the top half of the die and you should see some air vents. Give them a poke with a pin.
