Cast Bullets for a semi auto rifle

Hi. Anybody have any experience with cast bullets in a semi auto rifle? Any issues with feeding problems? Any bullet design do's and don'ts?

I was concerned about plugging up the gas port with lead shavings, but the guys that have done so say it is fine as long as you use a hard enough alloy (wheel wieghts, etc) and copper gas checks.

I'm going to set up to do so soon.

when you find data, do not use bolt data for a semi, you might break something
