Cast bullets for hunting?

Just wondering who uses cast bullets for hunting, especially for game, in this country anyhoo?

I have from time to time used a 250 gr cast gascheck bullet in my .35 Whelen at around 2200 fps to kill Mulies and whitetail deer. Ranges have usually been less than 150 yards and all have been through and through one-shot kills.
