Cast bullets with Gas Check for cal. 30 & 8mm

Hello, I need to know. I will cast some bullets with Gas Check for calibers 30 & 8mm so I will need to expand the neck before load the cast bullet with Gas Check same as lead bullet with no Gas Check ?

Lee makes a inexpensive tool called a Universal Case Expanding Die that works on anything from .22-.45 caliber and fits in a 7/8-14 regular reloading press........Harold

You can do gas check bullets very nicely if you do a decent job of chamfering your case necks - usually no necessity to bell cartridge necks, just seat like jacketted.

I just run a pair of (closed) long nose pliers in there to give a gentle flair.

it also depends on the diam of your bullet. if you size to 309 you may be good but if you size to a bit of a larger diam like 310, 311 you may want a bit of flare to prevent shaving of the lead
