I have just purchased a Ruger No.1 in .450/400 and I'm trying to find a Canadian source for cast bullets in the .410/.411 diameter (around 300 gr.) to use in reduced load plinking rounds. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Google "Bullet Barn"

The Bullet Barn is first-rate, but alas, Lois doesn't list a .410/.411. Closest is .409 for the 40-70. If Magma (whose casting equip. BB uses) makes a mould for .410/11, she can get it, although the OP would likely have to cover the cost of the mould as it isn't a size that will have great demand. Ben Hunchack may have a mould but I think he's closing up shop in anticipation of a move south.

M.T. Chambers makes the following 230gr. LFN pb(LBT), 260gr. fp pb, 400gr. fp. pb., 410gr. spit. pb, the 260 grainer may not drop that big as it is for the 40/82. Prices range from .012 cents for the 230gr. to double that for the 400gr. Sharps bullets. He's still makin' 'em until either he moves to Arizona or gets kicked off this site again....Ben
