CCI .22 cal shot rounds

Shotshells out of a rifled barrel produce patterns with large holes in them. The shot string flies in a spiral going who knows where. They won't hurt your Single Six, but they won't be accurate enough to bother with either.

well, they will NOT hurt your revolver, although you may be disapointed with the results.....

there are guns long and short that have smoothbore .22 barrels that pattern reasonably well, however the rifling in your tube will impart some spin to the shot charge (even though it's encapsulated) and produce open patterns, usually donut shaped....

I have shot some rifled .22's that gave acceptable patterns to maybe 12-15 feet....

The shot size is very small #11 or #12 and small shot loses its energy quickly.....

It's fun to try though, and cheap enough to experiment with a bit.....

ok, my friend was at the store and just bought them. he told me later he bought this fun sounding round to fire outa my single six. it just sounded a little wierd shooting something like that outa a rifled barrel so i had to ask to make sure it won't hurt my gun.
