CCI .22wmr maxi mag anywhere??

Looking but have not seen any CCI .22wmr in southern Ontario in quite a while.
Not considering Hornady as I have read too many complaints & actually talked with a chap holding a box with about 7 that would not fire in the first 1/2 box.
Local CTC has Aguila Eagle in .22lr but have yet to see any .22wmr.
Stopped at Bass Pro in Vaughan today, & they are even limiting quantities on .22lr.
Shortage not near over by the look of things.

CCI has been putting out Maxi Mags in the Troy Landry Choot 'Em boxes, 200 rounds in plastic trays in a flat box. (If you remember from a year and a half ago, they used to be 250rds loose bulk.) Haven't seen the individual 50rd plastic boxes recently, but I did see a small supply of their WMR TNT like that.

Rimfire production is up; distribution can still be a problem depending where you are (in SE Ontario, I imagine you are not remotely located). Some stores had very old back-orders to fill, so if your store didn't have a standing order in, they might have been passed over. The factories seem to spend most of their time pumping out .22LR, then they switch over to runs of WMR or .17 (or shorts or whatever), so it ends up as sporadic feast or famine. ‘Quite a while?’ There were definitely a couple of waves going around in the past six months, which I didn't miss!

Keep checking Cabela's on-line for stock, or the other big stores, and you can have 'em shipped, or at least know when a train-load is being distributed so you can check locally.

wholesale sports had them in stock when I was in there last week.
