CCI A17 .17HMR ammo any good?

Bass Pro has this stuff on sale right now and somewhat regularly for $80/200rds. I see it's higher velocity than most .17HMR rounds.

Is it worth buying over other rounds for this price? Any issues with it?

I use it in my Savage A17 and had no problems. Groups tight too. Thats a good price. Best i've seen is $90 /200

Sorry, I completely forgot to mention that it won't be shot through a Savage A17. I'd just be using it in a bolt action. I edited the original post to correct this.

I've run a few hundred through my savage bolt gun on gophers...

There are two manufacturers of 17HMR ammo, CCI and Winchester. Both make 17 and 20 grain varieties.
Federal, Hornady, Norma, and Remington are made by CCI. Browning 17HMR is rebranded Winchester.

Like all rimfire ammo, some lots will be better or worse than others. Like all rimfire ammo, some boxes from the same lots are better or worse than others.

Buy the ammo that's available and hope for the best.
