Cci ammo 45 colt shotshell #9?

no but its easy enough to make your own its cheaper but its still pointless here as we can not carry a handgun in canada and i think in most places shooting snakes in off the table

I tried to get shot (Speer) capsules throu a few dealers but none could get it for me. h ttp://www.speer-bullets.com/products/components/empty_shot_capsules.aspx

I know there is CCI 44Mag ammo have been imported recently (aluminum non-reloadable casings).
Would be nice addition to my Ranch Hand. (Tho I ran into prairie rattlesnake first time past summer it should be enough for grouse)

the shot spreads out way to fast from a rifled barrel and even faster from a long rifled barrel a 3" revolver not much but a 12" barrel is going to spread it in a donut pattern

I just bought a pack of the .44 special/magnum ones for my Marlin 1894. The performance was useless past about 10'. They where covered in dust with a very faded label at a local store so and I bought the only box they had.

Perhaps ask a local CCI retailer if they can bring them in?

Rattlesnakes are protected in Alberta still are they not.

It was an example only, if you truly need an explanation...

Thanks all for useful info

For the record: I did try various shotshells from rifled barrels and well aware of limitations.
