Anyone have experience with this ammo, good or bad? I don't see any bad reviews anywhere, but I've never shot it and want to be assured before I jump in feet first - I've been shooting tons of rimfire lately, and while I've got a sizeable stockpile of my favourite loads, I'm thinking about picking up a few 5000+ round caseloads of this Blazer stuff at a reasonable price.
 
Its my main go-to for cheap plinking ammo... I have yet to have a problem with it. Goes bang everytime (no duds yet) and it fairly accurate for bulk ammo. My savage bolt shoots it fine, and it works through my old Cooey 64 with no issues either...

I wouldnt hesitate to buy 5000 rounds of it. Thats just me though
 
Tried it a couple weeks ago along with 3 others, 250 down range with zero jams or failures the eject. Out of the ammo we tried that day it was the best and going forward, all I will buy.
 
Ok, I'm glad I asked. When I saw the CCI rounds were in a silver/white box instead of the regular blue box I get them in, I thiought there might be something worth looking into.
 
Like any rimfire ammo, please buy a box of 50 and try it first, you never know if your gun will like it. Would you be upset if it doesn't group well and you have 5000 rounds of the stuff?

May I ask where you are getting it from?

Are you talking about CCI Standards?


I forget to mention, I buy the 525 bulk packs... I've heard that the ones bought by the brick are more accurate... I cant get those, so the bulk packs suffice.

There was also mention of the ability to get ammo cans of CCI mini Mags from CT. The are very nice rounds as well.

Fishing World had about 10 5250 caseloads on the floor last night. I picked one up, put about 250 rounds through 3 of my rim rifles, and they all liked it well enough. I find the ar-7 to be the pickiest on ammo because it just won't cycle rounds that don't have enough mustard, but these worked fine. Grouped nicely.

I still prefer the CCI blue bricks, but these were a better price, and available in bulk. I've wandered into every CT I've seen lately and none of them have the CCI ammo can, which is what I was after.
