Is there really much difference? CCI AR 22 lr shows as 1200 fps, CCI mini mag listed at 1235 fps.

CCI MiniMags, both HP and solids show good accuracy when the velocities remain close.
Solids run around 1200 fps and HP's will push 1300. Both are copper plated.
When velocities are consistent with both MiniMags, under 1" at 100 yards is possible.
CCI Blazers are un-plated solids and run around 1200 fps. For HV ammo, they are the best value for accuracy delivered as they were in the 1" range at 100 yards.
The AR's at plated copper and they were running 4" at 100 yards. They are not worth the increased price and they won't do anything the MiniMags can't.
As with all 22 LR Ammo when you find something your rifle likes . . . buy lots. Different lot numbers can vary considerably.

The AR tactical is more accurate than the mini mag. I've tested them both multiple times in different rifles. My latest outing at 98 yds with my Savage TR and my 455 varmint both grouped better with the AR tactical. The 10 shot group in windy conditions on the tr was 3.4"for mini mag.The 10 shot group for AR tactical was 1.97".I've had similar results at 200 yds and 300 with the AR always grouping better.

I've had a similar experience in my 597.
