Just picked up 1000 rounds at Sportsaction on St Laurent blvd $10.59 per 100

Slightly higher then some other places online but no shipping if you live close by

They also have CCI Tactical 300 round packs

Cheers

If you're in a pinch, $10.59 works since they're in stock, but last time I bought some (last summer) I paid about $8/100 minus 10% member discount at LeBarons.
Minimags are good 22lr ammo, but not $.12/round good in my opinion. Not when it isn't that difficult to find Win/Rem/Fed at less than half that price locally. $.12/round is what I pay for premium target ammo for my match rifle.

I don't have anything against Sports Action but they do tend to be fairly pricey compared to anywhere else in town.

Lebaron has become just as, and in some cases more expensive than Bass Pro and Cabela's for ammo.

As an example, Bass Pro selles the Remington UMC 9mm 250 round value pack for $79.99

Lebaron, in October was selling it for $65. It is now on "special" for $81. And being on "special" the 10% Club Lebaron discount isn't valid.

I've noticed a lot of ammo and firearms are on "special" now so no discount applies.

A small shop that does not stock much so it's unusual they they even have it..

I hate that store, always have. don't think I've been I there in years. all I remember was some employee following me and watching me like a hawk almost creepy how I would look over and he was right there staring at me........... I drove by today and just couldn't stop even if I want some mini mags, i'll just wait and pay extra in shipping from somewhere else so I don't have to deal with that guy. don't even know if he still works there anymore or his name, never wanted to talk to him.

Went in there when I was first into the sport. I was living in Ottawa at the time.

Didn't enjoy the experience.

I felt like a nuisance/inconvenience the whole time and the employees had a dismissive attitude. I perceive that it was because of my age (early-mid 20s at the time).

So, I shopped online and at LeBaron instead... LeBaron isn't known for exceptional service either, but it was worlds better if you can believe it.

that's kind of what I felt like, I wanted to order a browning gold 3 1/2" in camo. would have been my first new shotgun and that was a long time ago and I felt like they thought I was wasting there time and kept showing me cheaper pumps they had on the rack...... went to lebaron's in bells corners at the time and bought one they had in stock and even payed cash. there loss, I've spent thousands and thousands on outdoor equipment since then and never there because of the way they treated me then. (don't tell my wife about the thousands and thousands..........) LOL

Weird, I've had the opposite experience with their staff. The few times I've been in there they've been very nice and polite. When I asked about ordering in a shotgun they didn't even mention what they had on the rack and asked me what I was looking for and pulled out the catalogue. Turns out they couldn't get it (I even forget what it was) but I don't go there too often because it's on the far side of town from me, they don't have much inventory, and are usually priced relatively high.

I have been dealing with Sportsaction for a long time but I also shop around and frequent Lebaron (Member) and Sail. I am not trying to promote this store to CGN members I am merely wanted to let members know that there are CCI MiniMags in Ottawa. Lebaron and Sail are great for regular hunters if you want hunting rifles and shotguns BUT if you have your RPAL like I do SportAction is the only local store in Ottawa that you can purchase Pistols and AR platforms (that I'm aware). Like any other company dealing with the public we all have good and bad experiences, I know the guy you are referring to and he hasn't been working there for years. Granted you can order online but I like dealing face to face as opposed to online stores taking your money lacking customer service, but that's just me.

That Hunting & Fishing Store in Richmond stocks more restricted's than anyone else in town. Better prices, and there's always something cool to look at. I think if you visited this place, you'd never walk into Sports Action again.....seriously....take a drive out this Saturday Iffin Ya got some time
