Looking for a source for the CCI Quick-Shok (1640 fps) Varmint .22LR ammo. These are the segmented hollow points.

Thanks

Thst about the same velocity as CCI Stingers isn't it? I don't know about the segmented hollow point though. If the Stinger do have that bullet, then you should be able to get them at CT, that's where I've bought stingers before.
Hope this helps.

After another search adding the catalogue number not one store has them in stock. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

I have about 400 , but not going to help you out ;)
They as with all .22 rimfire ammo is hard or challenging to come by these days.
Some have to take what they get.
So, aside from my smartazzed comment about not helping you out.
Have you spoke with your local long gun store and asked if they could find an answer for you?
Other than we dont have any in stock....there has to be a reason for this .
They are pretty cool on Prairie Gophers in that at 25-50 yrds they create a .25cent sized hole and the guts actually fall out of the hole.
As opposed to hollow points ripping the gopher in half.
Have pictures , but kinda gruesome to post...that and they are not digital format.
If I hear of some locally , I'll pass on the information I get.

Absolutely enjoy shooting the segmented stingers. Close range tho. They lose steam pretty quick it seemed from my testing over 100 yards. Shooting at objects I'd see three impacts in the gravel from the three parts splitting off. Pretty cool. I bet th wound channel on a small critter might be decent with those

Sorry my post was of no help, but now I'm curious as I've never heard or these bullets until now. What are segmented hollow points? Reading the posts I'm assuming it's a bullet specifically for hunting that splits into pieces on impact, am I right?

Yes, it segments into 3 pieces within an inch of penetration and with the high speed dumps all if it's energy within 6 inches resulting in a huge wound channel.. very devastating round. This would not be a good hunting round due to the damage inflicted but excellent for quickly and effectively killing small animals.
