Good deal me thinks. Regardless what people say it is free shipping. Some people just can't figure out how to enter a promo code.

Remember, its .22 > 40 grain > LRN > 50 > Quiet to get the right price.

Decent price, as you normally need to purchase a full case of 5,000 to get that price point from some vendors.

Rarely does the free shipping apply to ammunition, however, as a courier is needed for transportation of dangerous goods;
while $0 may show in your cart, they will possibly still charge your card a shipping amount based on the amount/weight purchased.

If they don't, well hell the deal just got a bit better!

Well there's always that chance you may never know. But to date, I've never been charged shipping from Cabelas and I usually only order ammo from them when on sale. If they ever charge your card extra after you've made a purchase, just call them. They'll fix it. But I doubt the need to ever do it in the first place.

BTW the rem slugs are on sale too. $5.89 / 5 i think

Highly doubt that. Not a single poster I've ever seen to confirm that either. I placed a large order of 9mm the first week of January that is still tricking in box by box that was on back order.. I am honestly surprised they didn't put a clause in for that because they are now up to 4 UPS shipments on it for me lol!

I worked for a very large company once that was on a preferred rates list with UPS/CPC/Purolator. They had flat rates anywhere in Canada as low as $5. Amazon pays even less. Even if you're buying a $1 item.

The ministry of govt and consumers svcs would be all over them if they charge you AFTER a checkout transaction. I jot got off the phone the Cabelas too. Two reps told me the same thing. What you see on the amount at checkout is the only amount you'll ever be charged for that order. Any items that are excluded from promos, or oversized items are clearly flagged in your cart with the additional charge. I bought a shotgun once, marked clearly with a $7.50 charge for oversize.

But to date, of the thousands of rounds I've bought... never once been charged shipping when I following the requirements.

You can't use logic and positive proof from personal experience here!

Many site sponsors have free or very low shipping for their products. I'm much happier to support them long before a chain outfit.
 
Thanks for the heads up. I always just get mine shipped to the store. I am local, and I will not likely be home to accept the delivery anyway. I would rather pick up at Cabelas then at a courier.
