CCI Quiet Semi Auto 22LR

45gr, 835fps. Cycles in semi auto actions. Anyone have any experience with this ammunition? Saw it on Cabellas site.

I’ve used them, great for squirrels! But not in a semi only in a leaver. However I just grabbed a couple of box’s of 100 from Tenda for $11 tho! Not a bad deal I thought.

It cycles my 10/22 with a low power charging handle spring just fine. Mind you I didn't try the regular power spring. It does have a barrel with a Bentz chamber and the bullets are just log enough to hit the rifling and get kind stuck in the barrel. To extract a live round I either use a jewellers screwdriver or, my preferred method, pull the trigger. It's not quite as quiet as the other slower Quiet-22 ammo, but it's definitely much quieter than any old subsonic ammo at ~1050 fps.

It was tried at our BR50 shoot and fell 2 targets below the aiming point.
Accuracy was terrible. CZ Does not recommend shooting the original "Quiets" from their rifles.
I dropped the powder from one and it weighed 0.44 gr. CCI SV was just under/just over 1 grain and CCI MiniMags were around 1.44 grains.

Oh man. They are 4-6 low at 50 yards. But same hole with 25 rounds. As good as elley contact with 1/2 the price. In my buckmark.

I love those. Cycle fine in my AR 22 upper. They’re going so slow you can see the bullet arc trace to 100yards. No problem with accuracy, just need to compensate for the slower speed and heavier bullet.

1022 is 100% with low power spring . 75-100% with standard spring . I think in my case it depends on outside temp . The 75% was in minus 15 but in plus temps it’s been 100

Just wondering if my Nylon 66 being almost mint with less than 50 rds through it has anything to do with it not cycling the CCI quiets????

I doubt my old one would either; they have quite a recoil spring. Mine has had literally thousands of rounds through it; and back in the day when fur was still worth the effort, killed over 1000 raccoons. It still shoots great!!
