Hey guys and gals, just wondering if anybody has tried Cci's select precision ammo, just picked up 100 rounds just to try it out, bit pricey but I got cheap stuff for plinking, I'm using my Marlin 795ss and it groups nice with mini mags, less than 1/4 moa at 30 yards, pretty much a jagged hole. I'm just wanting to see what the guns capable at 80-100 yards. Thanks

I tried a couple of boxes of the select in my Savage MKII and in my 10/22 and was not impressed. CCI standard shoots better in both my rifles

1/4 moa at 100 is a jagged hole as well, so if you speaking truth you have your answer... it will shoot 1/4 moa at 100 as well. but, i want to see pics.

1/4 MOA at 30 yds is a .075 inch group at 30 yds. Do you mean 1/4 in. group? Still nothing to sneeze at, but it's unlikely that would translate into a group of less than 1" at 100 yds. Personally, I think you should be very, very happy if you can get anything less than 3" at 100 if you're using an out-of-the box .22.

Yeah I meant 1/4 inch, I was at the range again today and got 1 inch at 50 but was windy and colddddd today, and that was with mini mags, the gun loves it, it absolutly hates winchester ammo for some reason. I'm saving the select for a calmer day.
