So I'm at the range today with my savage mk2 bv . I bought some Burris medium z rings to accommodate the butler creek covers for my scope, the low z rings were no good for front cover. Anyways, I sighted in at 50 yards. With Cci standard 40 gr. solid, pretty much 1 ragged hole but I was curious about groups at 100 yards. I made rough guess 24 clicks on scope elevation. Tried Cci standard and velocitior, velocitior was embarrassing around 3 inches, but Cci standard put 4 of 5 in a half inch with flyer opening up to 7/8 inch! Boy was I impressed with that ammo. I saved target and will ask my daughter how to post on this site to prove I'm not full of it, lol. Does anyone here have similar experiences accuracy wise with said gun and ammo combo or was I just having a good day. In reality I would have been thrilled to shoot anything less than 1 1/2 at 100, so I'm a little blown away really, sub moa with a .22 at 100, wow! I don't claim to do it every time but I did today, very happy!!! Opinions and experiences welcome please. Thank you everyone in advance.

If you can get a good batch of CCI 1050 fps its amazing, the velocitors tear though the sound barrier and then decelerate back down through it and destabilize so past about 50 yards they get wild, same with the stingers, but both the mini mags, and the 40gr round nose jacketed and waxed 1050fps CCI are amazing rounds, People were making fun of me for being upset the ammo is becoming more and more scarce

I also have a BV, 32 clicks out of my 6-18 trophy xlt and I'm at 100, I recently found that CCI sub sonic hp's work almost or as good, green tags are even better if you can find them, but the SV's are by far the best for the price, you may want to go back to the store you got them from and buy the rest as they can be scarce lately

CCI Select is a 40 grain lead bullet and quite accurate. It also starts at 1200 fps.
I think the AR Tactical is plated.
It is always hit and miss finding the right ammo/rifle combination.

With SV at 1050 fps sighted in at 50 yards, add 7 MOA to go to 100 and about 18 MOA to got from 100 to 200 yards.
