So I'm at the range today with my savage mk2 bv . I bought some Burris medium z rings to accommodate the butler creek covers for my scope, the low z rings were no good for front cover. Anyways, I sighted in at 50 yards. With Cci standard 40 gr. solid, pretty much 1 ragged hole but I was curious about groups at 100 yards. I made rough guess 24 clicks on scope elevation. Tried Cci standard and velocitior, velocitior was embarrassing around 3 inches, but Cci standard put 4 of 5 in a half inch with flyer opening up to 7/8 inch! Boy was I impressed with that ammo. I saved target and will ask my daughter how to post on this site to prove I'm not full of it, lol. Does anyone here have similar experiences accuracy wise with said gun and ammo combo or was I just having a good day. In reality I would have been thrilled to shoot anything less than 1 1/2 at 100, so I'm a little blown away really, sub moa with a .22 at 100, wow! I don't claim to do it every time but I did today, very happy!!! Opinions and experiences welcome please. Thank you everyone in advance.
