Interesting. I just cleared out a local Canadian Tire for $9.50 a box. And the best part is I was at a gun show on Saturday - people there were selling their VERY old second hand boxesof Stinger ammo for$13 per box. Not to mention the second hand firearms selling for $100-plus more than buying the same rifle brand new from Cabela's. I will never understand that mentality.
Guess it is call a Gun SHOW, not a Gun Sell for a reason. Lol

Yeah that's kinda why I was asking. I have an old box of them but was told not to use hyper velocity rounds in semis, and also heard that accuracy is poor in certain rifles.

I have shot them in my marlin 60 but accuracy was terrible. I know the marlin semis have a plastic buffer so that's the reason they advise not to use hyper velocity ammo in them. Not sure on other semis. I used to shoot alot of Remington yellow jackets so I have a couple extra buffers just in case but so far no problems. I stick with mini mags now for hunting and CCI S.V. for target shooting as I get sub m.o.a accuracy out of them

Not good for match chambers as the case is slightly longer. My Winchester Model 68 didn't like them so much but it sure loved Yellow Jackets, wish I could find them now.

Rugers 10/22 owners manual says not to use them in target or tactical models as the action has closer tolerances and they can jam with the extra length. They shoot fine out of my stainless takedown but accuracy goes down hill after 50yrds for me. Velositors at 40grns and 1400 fps do much better out further. FOR ME
