Hey all, I read the older posts about 45gr 22lr ammo but didn’t see anything about the CCI Suppressor specifically. I’m curious if anyone has experience with it. I have a 10/22 target that I’m curious if it’s worth trying on in. It looks like the old Winchester stuff wasn’t very good. I also saw some American Eagle 45gr on a site for an ON store.

If it only runs with HV ammo, clean it well, give the surfaces of the bolt and receiver a polish and then try Eley Force, SK long range match or the Norma Tac 22 that's rated as the 1100fps stuff (black box I think)

CCI has semi auto quiet .22 aswell a 45grn RN going 835FPS.Might be worth a try but if it didn't run CCI standard might not run that.

I saw the complaints about the old Winchester M22 45gr, too, but it's been great in all of my guns. I like it a lot, actually. Two different types, some rated and 1090fps and some 1000fps.

Unfortunately, Winchester has made quite a few different types of ammunition all using the M22 designation so it's hard to tell what's what.

I had standard cci fail after cleaned. It’s 1070. I’ve read there’s a softer spring I can use. Thanks for the info

I've never had problems with my 10/22s running CCI Standard. But I guess they've all been very broken in and/or nicely polished.

i use it in my 77/22 boat paddle for chickens, quiet and very accurate, the cci sub-hp close second. haven't seen any for few years and only got 3 boxes left.
its tad pricey but id buy brick or 2 if i found it again.

My 1022 will cycle CCIquiet semi auto 835 fps and American eagle supressor 45gr 970 fps no problem. Both the American eagle suppressor and CCI quiet semi auto were far more accurate than CCI quiet 40gr @710fps (which wouldn't cycle).

I've used the Federal 45gr Suppressor and the Semi auto quiet, the only difference is the copper plating on the Federal, the CCI suppressor is not plated. Winchester also offers a 45gr with black plating. My 597 and 64 ran both well.
