This Saturday November 26, the Smiths Falls Fish & Game Club is hosting our first CDPA (IDPA) match.

Squad times are 10 AM , 12 Noon and 2 PM.

Round count is about 70.

$20 to enter.

Members of IPSC, PPC and other pistol shooting disiplines are welcome to participate, as long as you have completed your pistol handling and safety course (Black Badge etc...). Be aware there are some differences you should know. Most notably, you can only carry two spare mags (or revolver speed loaders) + your loaded pistol or revolver, you must retain all mags (no dropping them on the ground), no race guns or speed rigs.

CDPA rules are the same as IDPA with the exception of the maximum revolver barrel length being increased 4" to 6".

I'm glad that SFFG are back in the games, but I suggest that you start checking the match schedules for the area, because Saturday is IPSC day at the RA.

Yeah, we are aware of that. This match is primarily for the new CDP members that took our course last weekend. The level 2 at the RA runs on Saturday and Sunday so if you wanted you could do both.
 
Thanks it was a lot of work but we enjoyed putting it on. Before the match I was thinking that there was no way I would never do another one in the snow again, now in retrospect, if I can convince the guys to do it again I'd like to do another one late next fall.

In any case there will be more matches next spring and summer.
