Cellular Trail Cams?

I use 8AA lithium batteries in my cameras and they can last up to a year. The main influences are the number of images the camera takes, taking/sending videos, and the frequency of sending pics/videos to the app. The more times that it sends pics to the app-the faster you’ll burn through batteries. Sending videos burns batteries fast. On my non-solar cameras, I only send once per day and battery life is not an issue.

If you are in an area with marginal cell coverage, you can use up battery life due to more attempts to connect to the tower.

Also, over the air firmware updates can drain your batteries too.

Just an observation, but the camera battery meter in the app is not reliable and can fluctuate wildly from day to day.
