Hi guys,

Anybody here have any first-hand experience with CenterPoint scopes. They're sold by WallyWorld in the U.S. and are carried by (and seem popular with) online airgun dealers. The few online comments about them (that I was able to locate) are generally quite positive.

I just ordered/purchased a 6 x 32 compact scope (with AO) for my AR15.

Hey, I just found a CenterPoint fixed 4x at Canadian Tire. Haven't opened the box yet. It was inexpensive.

Made in China, use to be inexpensive prior to Crossman buying them, about double the price they use to be now. I have a 3-9x40ao on a 1000fps springer and it hasn't fallen apart yet so that is good news. I think it was $60 at Lebarons many years ago. I originally got it for a Ruger 10/22 but it was just to big and heavy.

got one on my Benjamin trail np this summer. 22 cal air rifle 495fps version. I was worried at first it's a bit tacticool and I can't figure out how they can pile on the features for so little money. It's a3-9x40 AO. I'm using the pellet rifle for rats in the chicken run. At first everything seemed all right in bright daylight and even shooting rats under a light at midnight. But trying to use it in late afternoon is horrible. There is a lot of internal reflection and it seems dim. I'm not sure why but it almost seems like the objective attracts dirt and dust which makes the low angle light situation worse. I would be inclined to think an AR justifies a quality optic but you know your budget better than I do.

Centerpoint? Not even once! Same with ncstar, tasco, barska, bsa, Sun optics to name a few. Trust me just because some Joe blow has a rave review that paints in on the same line as a decent quality manufacturer, doesn't make it true. Save your pennies and buy sometbinng you won't be dissapointed in after looking through nearly every other scope line out there
My 0.02$
Ps I'm a cheap Dutchman.
