The last years of Century was like a candle burning bright, great offerings, but after the Conservatives passed their gun control C80 in 1990 the writing was on the wall, and with the Liberals and C68 coming along just after that ban lists flourished, registries were on the way, and general goofiness and hysteria would ensue while everyone was asked to 'think about the children'.
Century always had some odd but amazing listings, and 94 was no different, with Soviet PSM pistols coming in to Canada, though the ammo went to the states eventually. Anyway, here is some of what Canadians were trusted with in 1994:

Would be sweet to just be able to order an AK or a ptrd 41
Kinda surprised on the price of the dragonov as that’s a fair bit for back then
didn’t realize they were worth that much, mind you the sks price is similar to what was only 10 years ago
Nice bit of history thanks for sharing!

So many things available in the "before times". Scrolling through I can understand why I don't see much of those anymore due to government prohibitions, but things like the Chinese Type 53 (Chinese M44 Mosin) it's strange I almost never see them around. Either not many were brought in, or the people who bought them have no interest in selling them

The MN Type 53 carbines were pretty rough, because of this they were slow sellers. The majority of them ended up in the USA when Century closed their main Wharehouse in Montreal.
