Cerakote a hunting rifle?

Hi all
thought I'd check to see if any of you have ever cerakote'ed a hunting rifle.
I have a great blued steel rifle that I'd like to protect from rusting.
But don't want to spend the money on it before I get the good the bad and the ugly first

It is a robust finish. Prevents rust, and can be had in many colours. I had a couple of shotguns done with it.
Works well for wet conditions.

I would do it, it's s very tough finish, and as stated above it won't rust or wear off very easy.

I had S&J hardware do one.
The other was done at a non sponsor. Quality was good with both.

Take it , use it , oil and maintain it - bead blast and refinish as req.
I see guys cero-Crete scratch up too

Maybe consider having it nitrided...Nitrera does it, there a was a thread recently

I have a few in ceracote but I do it myself. better than bare stainless as it doesn't wear easy.
