I'm looking to get a Winchester SXP Marine Defender coated in something like burnt bronze or a stealth grey colour. What I'm having a hell of a time with is finding anyone in this province to do the work. Select Shooting Supplies doesn't do long guns and TacOrd is so busy they aren't doing third party work currently. Is there anyone else the CGN audeince recommends?

If it wasn't for all the gear needed to do it properly, I'd just do it myself but don't have a sandblasting setup or air powered paint brush/compressor.

You can try Backwoods Gunsmithing in Rutherglen Ontario.
He is a bit........quirky and his wait times might be excessive but give him a call and feel things out. His Ceracoating seems decent.

i have quote 4 different places, third one in Ajax, dont remember the name, forth one (tacord) stop doing piece works.
at the end, i decided to do it myself, i have all the resource i need, the only money i had to spend is 45USD for 4oz cerakote paint

Does anyone have any experience with kool koatings? They have good prices but there doesn't seem to be much out there for reviews.

Thanks for the replies folks will check out these other options. As noted in my original post neither Tacord or Select Shooting Supplies are willing to do the work currently. Those two were my first stops.

To anyone looking to get this done just reach out to BC Cerakote, the only retailer who bothered to respond to email and follow up with clear pricing and instructions. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

TacOrd did my my shotgun almost 10 years ago and to this day it still looks great and almost brand new. My next firearm to be done will be going to SJ Hardware though. I never had them refinish a firearm before but I have dealt with them for other things and they have been great. I wouldn't hesitate at all with them at all.
