Trying to source aluminum oxide or garnet sand near Ottawa to blast my receiver and hand guard to cerakote. Anyone know where I can find the right sand or find someone who can blast it for me?

Princess auto and Canadian Tire both have the way over priced 2 pound bottles. That might be just enough to get you by.

Otherwise you're stuck ordering a 50 pound bag.

Mine only took one of those over priced jars from CTC. I used "Cerama Coat" Very happy with it. Got it through 4GT, one of the site sponsors.

Just order direct from cerakote they have the fastest shipping I’ve ever seen and take care of all the customs paper work and fees etc.
