Anyone use Cerakote BC to refinish a pistol? I have an older Beretta with a blued slide and the frame is a bit rough. I'm thinking about getting the slide re-blued and the frame Cerakoted. Cerakote BC seems to be the only one out west to offer this.

I do Cerakote and I would suggest that you do the entire gun. I did the slide on my CZ75 and now the frame looks like crap, till I get to it. Don't send your gun to me however, just for info.

Looks like this is the guy:

CERAKOTE B.C.
Services: Cerakote™ Firearm Coating
66443 SUMMER ROAD
HOPE, BC, V0X 1L1, CA

yup, frank is good people, known him for a few years now and have had a few dealings.
have a receiver in the mail to him right now for a graphite black cerakote. will post pics and a review when I get it back.
gonna send him an enfield sporter action and probably a sako A5 for some refinishing as well.
I have an m14 that was cerakoted some years ago in Ontario somewhere and the finish has held up remarkably considering it's a truck/camp/hunting gun that spends a lot of time on the front grabbers on my quad.

I have a few guns with Frank right now (Cerakote BC). He is awesome with the details, thorough with explanations, and I can't wait to see the final outcome (he sent me a few teaser pics).
