Hey guys, just wondering what refinishing limitations there are on hammerforged barrels, thinking about picking up a used model 7 but want to know what options there are for refinishing before I buy.

No different then other barrels. Hammer forged is just the method used to form the barrel bore and profile. The steel is pretty much the same as button or cut rifled barrels.

I was under the impression that hammer forged barrels were susceptible to damage from heating, or cannot be fluted, sand blasted, wasn’t sure if that would translate to not being able to “bake” them for a finish

Definately not a problem. If a forged barrel cannot take a light blasting and curing at 300°f then you have a problem.

If you are really worried about tempature which I wouldn't be 300F is not likely to change any metallic properties of a barrel you can cure Cerakote H series at 150 degrees F if you double the baking time or if you are really worried go with C series air dry although it's not as tough as the oven cured series.
