cerakote on a glock frame

was wondering if a cerakote coating will last on a glock frame or it is better to do a dye?

I guess I should have mentioned I don't use my pistols in a Holster anymore. I do have Remington 700 I had done the same colour and it has had a lot of handling but does not show any wear.

Never heard of any dye-type products, but I've duracoated plenty of polymer items and its held quite well.
Have never dabbled in cerakote but I'm certain it will work quite well too.

In either cerakote or duracoat, it is important that the polymer does not flex/bend in order to maintain longevity in the finish.
In the case of a pistol frame, you'll be fine.
