Ceremonial Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1

No bayonet lugs! Is (was) that a 7.62 conversion?

No, she`s a .303.

I haven`t followed up on the markings since i got it this fall, so I don`t know the history of it, why no lug, or who chromed it and why.
Once I get on that I`ll let you know, I just haven`t had time to go through archives.

That`s the one that was at Gobles

Reminds me of the "loaner" double barreled, all white, "long tom" that was displayed in the window of Delisle Thompson Sporting Goods in Saskatoon many years ago with a caption "For Formal Weddings Only".

I think it sits in Saskatoon Gunsmith Shoppe now on the rack. Pretty sure it's the one you refer to.
