CF .338 Sniper rifle

I've heard the CF is now using a .338 sniper system. Is this true and if so can someone post some pics? What is this rifle called?
Is this just another tool in the quiver for our sniper teams? I'm assuming the .50 is a @#!t to hump around and the .338 is a little more practical on "soft" targets. Whats the story guys?

yes a mid range sniper rifle when you just need a little more then 7.62

The 7.62 rifles are good to about 600 yds. The issue NORMA 168gr bullet loses its stability after that. The .338 Lapua Magnum takes the snipers' reach out to about 1200 yds. The bullet stays supersonic and stable at the mid-ranges. The .50cal is much more rifle to lug around and to fire.
