Thanks to WO Ken L. and Jody for putting on a great time today at CF Dundurn.
It was a blast (pun intended). Hopefully this will be a regular thing!

Thanks Again

Wow,

That didn't take long:D

It was a great day.I think Ken said he would have some pics up soon of the shoot. It was actually more work that we thought, but worth it, and I didn't even help with the planning ;)

I think it went well, any suggestion for next time? What else would you guys like to see?

Based on today we will have more of these.

Shawn

I had a fantastic time for my first carbine shoot. It was well organized. A big thanks to Ken and Shawn from the Dundurn club for putting on the shoot. Fun fast relays. You guys did a great job!

Yeap +1 again thanks Shawn sry i missed your name.

When is the next one?

It is ironic that you guys are shooting at Dundurn and are getting lots of love from the Camp CoC. Fifteen years ago the SPRA got the square root of SFA for cooperation from a particular Camp WO who ran the place like he owned it, and told his CO what to think. Dundurn is a great location and has so much to offer to shooters, hunters and outdoorsy people. Too bad they don't need anyone from my trade.

No, worries.

We don't have a date picked yet. But it should not be too long, depends on how much mil use the range gets.

Did anyone get any pics?, I totally forgot to take my camera out of my bag

And man did I ever get wind burnt that day, my face was a little pink when I got home. I am glad the wind died down for lunch at least.

What would you guys like to see next time? or anything that we can imporve?

Shawn

I will take a look at the schedule and see what I can book. I was thinking a longer distant shoot or courses of fire somewhat like Jody had before.

Ken

Can someone send me the course of fire or a website that tells what goes on in a carbine shoot? I am coming into posession of a carbine soon and would like to set up a shoot.

Well it does help to in the chain of command and be in the Det Rod, Gun and Archery Club.
