the gun club is very much inactive as of late but it might just be due to low interest. most dudes just pound dirt at 80 meters at baron canyon. if you care enough Connaught has a club you can join and shoot more regularly with. its not too far, only a quick jaunt to Nepean.

I’ve been working with the PGC (Petawawa Gun Club) for over a dozen years now. We are working together to deliver a varied (CQB Clinics and M14 Clinics all died in May 2020)
The President of the PGC is a busy guy and works hard to deliver a diverse recreational shooting calendar. Yes you can get hold of him on the PGC’s group page on Facebook. He’s always monitoring that means.
