This is 2019 schedule for CQB Matches held by Club de Tir Recreatif de Valcartier (CFB VALCARTIER)
These shooting matches are with rifle and pistol and shot in many positions. You have a limited amount of time to complete each course of fire and distance will vary from 10m to 100m depending on the stage. Yes, you read correctly, we're pushing the distance this year !
For those who attended those matches in the last couple of years, this year has 3 brand new matches that will bring you some new unique challenges. Your confort zone is in for a little shake !
Shooters attending the different matches will need the following minimum equipement:
-A valid PAL. 1 shooter = 1 PAL
-Proper dress to shoot from the various position (prone, kneeling) on gravel
-A semi automatique centerfire rifle with a minimum of 5 non-coupled magazines. Capacity is 5 regardless of mags being used.
-A sling
-Optics of all kinds or iron sights
-Any accessories you want to put on (laser, flashlight, foregrip, TacSack...)
-A semi-auto centerfire pistol with at least 2 magazines (5 will be needed for a Pistol CQB match later down the road)
-Level 2 holster (all model even the infamous SERPA are accepted, except crossdraw style holters)
-You must be able to carry 4 rifle magazines and 2 pistol magazines in a vest, rig, pockets
-Pen, calculator for scoring
-Cleaning kit and all maintenance related accessories for your firearms
-A bag to pick up brass
-Water, food and whatever else you need to stay in the game (lunch in included in the fees)
-Good clothing to face any weather conditions. Matches wont stop unless tornadoes, lightning, act of God)
-Eye/Ear protection are mandatory
Matches will run regardless of the weather. Shooters who register shall show up even if it's raining. If you have to cancel, out of respect for the staff please do it as early as possible.
Shooters will pay on the day of the Match in cash. Please have the exact amount of 35$
Matches are blessed by the Canadian Shooting Federation. Any anti-sport behaviour will be dealt accordingly on the spot. It has never happened, lets keep it this way for 2019.
Spots are limited to 60 shooters per match, register early and again, if you have to cancel, do it early. Late cancellation such as "the morning of the match cancellation" are subjected to a ban from future events
