The CFC cashed my cheque for my PAL, does that mean my license is coming soon? Their website still says I'm still in the initial stage of processing.
 
It takes 28 days minimum from the date they recieved it. If all is well it should get issued on the 29th day, and then 1-2 weeks to have it in your hand.
 
Doesn't the app say the $60.00 for PAL or $80.00 for RPAL is Non-refundable? I would take that to mean even if your not approved, they still keep the money. They may be just starting to look at your application.
 
all depends on what province you live in.my son has been waiting since march to get his.its sitting at the CFO and every time he calls them they claim they are very busy
 
the fee is for processing you application and creating your PAL card. My money was taken the day the application was first entered in their system then I got a call from the CFO then I got my PAL and RPAL so you should still have lots of time to wait
