The BCL Siberian is now at 2656 rounds (things have gone slower than we wanted due to undesired interruptions) and we decided to take the opportunity to do a dirt test.

The rifle started with 1 round in the chamber and 9 in the pistol magazine (we used the magazines that had had the least issues during testing). The rifle had 1x large handful of dirt dropped on each side.

The rifle was given 1 shake to remove dirt.

It then fired 10 rounds with 1x fail to fully go into battery that was easily resolved by pulling the bolt a little rearward then letting go. The trigger became a little sluggish.

Loading another 10 round magazine the chambering of the first round was sluggish. We applied another handful of dirt on each side of the rifle and it received another single shake.

The rifle made it's way through this second magazine with 1x failure to fire, it then fired that round after it was reloaded into the magazine. The trigger became SIGNIFICANTLY sluggish and required more than one squeeze to fire towards the end.

So all in all not a bad showing at all and proof that sealing off the left side of the gun makes a big difference in this specific test
