CFSC test results?

Hello all,
I took my CFSC 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for the official results to get back to me. The instructor did say that i passed with flying colors so i am not worried about that. What i am worried about is that according to the instructor it should not take more than 2 weeks to receive the results in the mail.

How much longer should i wait before i start to worry that my test results have been lost in the mail, not processed properly, etc...

I'm guessing Ontario.

Because of some shady examiners, we now have to send our test results to the Ontario CFO for them to examine them, stamp them, and send them back to us.

To the OP:

When I took my course, my instructor said if we didn't have the results within three weeks, call the CFO.

Luckily, I had mine within 5 days. Can you get in touch with your instructor and find out when he sent them in?
 
when the CFO required to view exam before student can see them, i really think its should be view as a lack of trust. Those written exam are of multiple choice and corrected with a grill, i think that some province required medical attention on the all deal.
 
Indeed i am in Ontario, i guess the first thing i should do i call my instructor to make sure he actually sent it out right after the course was over and didn't wait a week or two.
 
What instructors in Ontario received in writing from the CFO concerning processing times was that the CFO's self-established performance standard was to have the results mailed back to the students within 28 days. I have had lots of students report getting their copies 27-28 days after their course. During the summer there appeared to be a delay of another week or two.

Instructors in Ontario are supposed to mail the results to the CFO within 5 business days.

If the form was accidentally submitted with missing info or signatures that will case several weeks of additional delay.
 
The current waiting period for ont tests is 4-5 weeks. Don't panic until then. You can call the CFO but they're just going to tell you what I just told you.
 
3 weeks is typical... but anything more I'd call... be polite.. but you would be surprised how fast things can suddenly get done that way instead of sitting in some pile of unmoving paperwork.

Welcome to the hurry up and wait process of the ontario government... wait until you have to wait for a restricted transfer.... another 5 weeks for my last one. and then 4 plus weeks for my A.T.T. :bangHead:

Four plus weeks for an ATT? my instructor made it sound like it was no big deal, he gave an example that if you have to take your restricted firearm to a gunsmith because something is broken you just call and they will fax it over the same day, if you don't have a fax he said it will take a few days for it to arrive by mail

STATT should be faster.. LTATTs take longer by far.

However as of late it seems that all of the CFO's are intentionally causing #### even w/STATTs.. esp since the conference and Blairs "zero tolerance' bull####.
 
Make sure you put your complete middle name (not just initial) on the test results form or else it will delay the return. It happened to my son. Rats.
