Well, myself and Viper7 paired up and entered into the CF Sniper Competition (CFSC) and NSCC Precision Rifle Competition and had some good results!

During the CFSC we won 7 of the 11 matches as a pair, 3 more individual matches (2 for Viper and one for me) and Viper7 placed second place tyro for the CF and second place overall for the CF and I placed third in the CF. We also won the RegF Sniper 2 man team award.... with an awesome trophy (#4 sniper rifle mounted on a trophy base)!!

During the NSCC PR competition we won five more of the matches in the CF/RCMP class.

Long range competitions completed, now we are starting the Service Rifle competition tomorrow.

We used a CF issued C3A1 Parker-Hale with an Unertl Scope and a SIMRAD for the night shoot. Managed to pull off a 48.5 out of 50.10 on the 800 meter mound

So how is a regular civilian shooter who can't afford the right quality of night vision device supposed to compete in the night shoot? Somebody wasn't thinking about the ordinary competitor when they wrote up that match. Kindof sandbags the agg' and trophies for shooters from a very narrow definition of employers.

Nice! I bet that made you popular with the Timberwolf crowd.

I think all the CF teams were using the C3. The Danes had Sako .338s.

And as for the civilian shooters not having the equipment for the night shoot, the CFSC is only open to military and police. Civilians were allowed to shoot this year for honors only. Last year they could not shoot at all.
