CG adjustable rib issue

Need some help please.
I have a CG Syren tempio. According to the manual to adjust the rib height, I should only need to loosen the top screw. It works if I want to have 70/30 or higher.
If I want to change it to 65/35 or lower. I have to loosen the bottom screw, which shouldn't be. Moreover, you can see from the picture. The bottom screw will not recess back to the hole when retightening it. The rib in the picture is 65/35.
Is it normal? Please help.

I believe that rib is only designed to go to 60/40. The bottom screw is the assembly screw. If you have loosened it and turned the wheel and now it won't seat fully, my guess is that something has shifted inside.

I would call Caesar Guerini USA and ask to speak with a gunsmith. Don't mention you are calling from Canada.

Thanks, I called them. The gunsmith said the manual didn't show the correct instructions. God knows.
