I'm trying to evaluate the serviceability of a Walther CG90 co2 air rifle that has been donated to a fledgling Airgun club. The rifle appears serviceable but the one included co2 cartridge is empty has a stripped nut used to snug the cartridge in place and there is no charging equipment. The sights and trigger appear good and the barrel straight.
I'm a target rifle shooter but I'm totally unfamiliar with Airgun equipment so I need to know if parts are readily available and if there is any economical way to test the rifle before committing money to what is likely outdated tech?
I am familiar with Walther quality and hope this rifle can be returned to good use as an entry to intermediate level 10 m trainer.
