Hello,
I have not had any experience with CH dies.
Are they good quality?
I will appreciate any feedback and info.
Thank you
John

Top quality and very popular before Dillon and RCBS and the rest made the main stage. My father wildcat his big Weatherby cases, and necked many down and his entire setup, from turret press for the dies(single stage CH at the bottom), powder measure, scale, and about 30 sets of dies, all CH. I don't think they are in production today, but I could be mistaken.

HOWEVER, the new dies are excellent, and if you have a stright walled cartridge, a carbide size die saves a lot of sticksing cases, and will not wear in a handloader.

Don't second guess this product, it was the best in the 50's back when the P.O. Ackley's were making all the wildcats, etc.

John,

I have used them a lot. The latest was a set for 9.5X56 Mannlicher-Schoenauer that I ordered for an acquaintance of mine. The die set, with a tapered expander, cost less than two boxes of ammo, including customs charges, delivered to Whitehorse.

Now, instead of getting ripped for $65 plus GST per box for ammo, he makes his own using 8X57 brass and has better ammo. 8)

You won't be disappointed.

Ted
