chachinga bulets

They shoot. Don't tell anyone K. Then there won't be any left. 178gr 308 stable to a mile check. Testing 205gr to a mile soon. Savage 30" barrel.

I'm sure you mean "Chinchaga" bullets. The Xringassasin loves them. I haven't personally shot any but am hoping to get some .338's for my Edge.

Old e-mail address above I don't think is still valid anymore.

Dale Janzen chinchagabullets@hotmail.com sure as heck DOES work.

Dale has a website all designed and ready to go but he can't keep up to demand as is currently - so, being the fart smella he is - he won't advertise "yet".

I've shot every competition bullet out there in 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm and 308 (the guns I own) and Dale's run right with them all for accuracy, but hey, he lives in Alberta, he's a darn good guy to deal with - so I buy from him! Plus - shipping is less being as he lives in the same province.

JLK is the closest bullet to Chinchaga bullets design I've shot.

I wish you'd delete this thread - Dale's bullets are kind of a "secret weapon" of a few shooters.

So shhhhhhhhhhhh!!

If you DO buy bullets from Dale - buy LOTS. He bumps guys buying thousands a bit higher in the lineup than guys buying 100 here and there...and rightfully so. Each bullet is made BY HAND - and setting the presses up to make a different bullet is apparently a pain the arse.

Bob @ custom gunworx in Rocky Mountain House is also stocking a pretty good inventory of Dale's copper creations. 403-845-8712

We're getting you some 338 babies fatboyz :)

are these bullet monolithic ??

Lead core/ copper jacket, some steel tipped, some open tipped, some closed tipped match. Some bonded core available...some lead tipped...none are nosler ballistic tipped. Ballistic Tip is a nosler trademark.

Is a ballistic tip not anything with any kind of material pressed into the nose that helps the bullet expand when the tip is driven back on impact???? Be it plastic, steel, or aluminium??? Maybe the name ballistic tip is trademarked by nosler? but everyone makes ballistic tip bullets do they not? or is there some other difference that makes a bullet a ballistic tip or not?
