challenging the restricted course?

it's easy, go to the legalese section to find the restricted course manuals. go to the CFC website and download the videos on how to handle the restricted firearms. and you're set

Just take the course. It's boring as hell but why not it's only about 8 hrs. and your guaranteed to pass. In my class for some reason people had a hard time understanding simple questions, it's just the way the word the questions but the instructor walked us through before the test and everyone passed. Easy as pie.

A course will set you back $100 +, so if you are anything above or equal to average intelligence, get the $25 (or is it $15?) book (or download the materials mentioned above for free), read it from one end to the other, and you'll have no problems.

I challenged my restricted and regular PAL, and did extremely well on both, without ever takin a course.

It really depends on how familiar you are with handguns and on the instructor. One fatal mistake, you might be nervous (ie sweep the instructor, not point in the area designated 'safe' by a little sign etc) and youll fail. I say take the course, sure to pass.
