Just wondering if an older Cooey Model 84 has a strong enough action to be bored out from 2 3/4" to either 3 or 3 1/2" chambers.I know once Winchester bought out Cooey they were chambered to 3" instantly and then called the Model 840.I don't think anything changed much other than the stocks being made of walnut to birch and a wider fore stock ?.
