My friend bought a Bernard action and a True-Flight barrel this fall and today I watched him chamber the barrel...man talk about beeing precise. He turned the barrel end for the front sights then cut a 11 degre crown, cut the threads and finished by cutting the chamber, a 308 Palma Match. He's a machinist and got all he needed from Pacific Tools...a lot of $$$ but the results are great , I don't know how much a gunsmith charges but I know it's not somthing anyone can do in their basement
I've got a feeling,he's find out soon how many shooting friends he's got, who need new barrels
