Chambers Pennsylvania Fowler

I am building a 62 cal/ 20 gauge Pennsylvania fowler that I picked up from an estate. It has very nice maple and is starting to look pretty good. I am posting pictures of the process as well pics of my other projects on my website http://www.gundoctor.ca. I am in the final stages of finishing and am hoping to shoot it soon. Today I casehardened the lock, I have a couple more coats of oil to go on the stock, a few more days of browning and it should be good to go.

beautiful work. Do you do casehardening for other folks? I'm working on a late English halfstock flinter, and thought I might want to get the parts casehardened.

It is only a hobby but I have dunked a few for friends for sure.

I finished the fowler this weekend and took it out to shoot. It is great fun and has a fast lock time.
