Chamfering pistol brass...

Is chamfering pistol brass a waste of time, or is it useful for both lead and jacketed bullets?

I've done both with no difference noted. Could be my shooting though.

Ive reloaded 10s of thousands pistol and never chamfered them. Tumble them to get them clean and reload them!

I don't measure or chamfer my pistol brass.

Can be useful when loading lead bullets by minimizing the bell you need to put in the case mouth to avoid shaving the bullet.

never done it, nor would I suggest anyone bother. Rifle rounds yes, but for pistols its just a waste of time

The only case prep I ever do with pistol brass is to clean it.
