i picked up a 30rnd 10/22 "champion" double stack mag a couple weeks ago today was the first time i got to try it, and wow was i impressed. it fits with almost no wiggle and functions flawlessly. my butler creek mag loader works better on it than it does on butler creek mags.

the price is right i will be picking up a couple more of these.

i belive they are also availiable for other guns such as the 597, marlin, etc etc. it even looked like they had some hi caps for the magnum rimfire rifles

time will tell how the feed lips hold up
 
They looked to be the same as the shooter's ridge ones, I have one of those.

My experience is it worked great with Win555 and AE copper plated... HOWEVER... works terrible with with lubricated ammo, and once I had lubricated ammo in there even the copper plated stuff had problems. I suspect what is happening is that the lube is actually increasing the friction of the insides of the mag, and since the double-stack presses the ammo against the sides in alternating fashion... it gums up the mag where the ammo converges to a single stream. (Am I making any sense?)

I've currently spent sometime loading and unloading copper-plated ammo to try to clear the lube. Once that is done I figure I should be good to go again. (I suspect this has happened to me before but only now have I put 2 and 2 together.)

Once I clear out my copper stuff, I'll be shooting CCI SV exclusively so I'll have to stick to the Butler Creeks (which work flawlessly for me).

So in summary, my experience is this mag is good for copper-plated, TERRIBLE for lubed.
 
To answer my own question. They have some at WSS in Calgary. They were 22 or 26 bux i don't remember.

I decided against them due to the plastic lips.
 
they fed perfectly zero malfunctions out of the package, ran about 400rnds through yesterday just plain old federal bulk pak copper plated

as for cleaning there is a removable plastic cap on the bottom to clean out where the bullet rides in the mag which is a step up from butler creek

i will be buying a couple more of them for sure
 
These mags have a nice profile I think. Less "banana" look as they are more compact than the Butler Creek. As well, if you look really close you'll see that they have a "ramp" so that the bolt doesn't accidentally jam on the lips with less-than-ideal mag fits.

Too bad these mags don't like lubed ammo.
