Changing .221 Fireball brass to 17 Fireball

I'm guessing all that needs to be done to change the brass is to run the .221 brass through a full length die like you get with the RCBS FL die set and you are good to go?

Ive read it is best to do a middle step and use a forming die to 20 cal first, like a 20 vartarg sizer die should work?

having a hard time finding 17 FB brass?
