Changing a barrel to 3" Mag

Just wondering if anyone can provide me with insight in changing out a barrel on an auto-5. The stock gun is chambered for 2 3/4" shells. If I replace the barrel with one chambered for 3" shells, am I able to use them? Or will the stroke of the action prevent cycling and or ejection?

It will not work. Three inch chambered barrel requires a magnum reciever.
